One of Mike's friends brought his gorgeous wife to the studio with the idea of having Mike photograph her. He thought she was beautiful and wanted a pin-up master's treatment of her. Lola herself was reticent about the whole thing, not because she didn't trust Mike to do a stellar job (she LOVED his photos of other girls) but because she didn't think herself pretty enough. WRONG!
In fact, her shyness convinced Mike she DID have the right stuff. He says, "A beautiful girl who doesn't know she's beautiful, is doubly so. And the camera has a way of revealing that unfakable quality to everyone.
