At the time of this picture, "Kitbuilder's Magazine" was the largest magazine devoted to the resin kit hobby. Mike was hired by the publisher of Kitbuilders to create a "mascot" for the magazine (a trend soon imitated by all other kit publications). So this is the progenitor..."KB (Kitbuilder's) Kutie." It was a hit. But, Azimuth Design and Mike James never sold the kit...as it was a commission.
