I suspect Mike actually saw a real girl wearing these shorts (top left)...a big bow on cuffed shorts is just too weird to make up. In the "Mall Rat" drawing I recognize the outfit. That's "Lisa Swallows" again, taking a stroll down the canned goods aisle. (Somehow, I LIKE knowing this girl exists in real life.) The third pic looks like a simple sketch of a student on campus. The leg folded under is casual and nice. The last one seems a quickie life portrait.
